Geocache Description:


Boort is one of our favourite places and Lake Boort, best of all. With this in mind we created this circuit of the Lake with a little Geocaching along the way.
Sadly the water level is low at the moment and most sporting activities curtailed; however this hasn't stopped the bird life which is always a pleasure to watch.
There is a foot trail right around the Lake which is suitable for wheelchairs and is about 4kms but for those who for whatever reason need to drive, there is a road which also goes the whole way round. All 6 of the caches in this series are just a few meters from either the road or the foot track.
We have tried to make the caches as wheelchair friendly as possible but being a bush setting some of the terrain may be rough going. Also, in an effort to keep the caches interesting, some will require physical effort to find and dependent on the degree of incapacity, may need some assistance. The decision is yours.
We hope that you enjoy the trip round the lake and would appreciate any feedback . Not being wheelchair bound, we can only guess what people can cope with and we feel that the only relevant comments in this regard must come from you.

BL#1 A Stroll by the Lake is a comparatively easy find to get you started.
You will be looking for a 1lit fruit container with Log, pen and a few items for exchange.
