Geocache Description:

An apparently-not-so-easy grab and go right near a local lake - and it's offshoot creek. Has a nice waterfall to look at as well!

Having returned from cache-saturated Victoria, BC for the holidays, I was both shocked and pleased to discover that Acton has only a handful of caches placed! This gave me an opportunity to throw one together quickly and tuck into a hiding spot I first noticed more than a year ago while doing a multi-cache with my mother.

Cache is a medium-sized lock and lock box, and contains a Twoonie for the FTF. There a few goodies to get it started, but nothing so totally awesome that it blows your mindcase.

Cache terrain is basically sidewalk right up until the last tiny little bit - where it may not QUITE be wheelchair accessible, especially in winter. Speaking of which... the cache was easily accessible when placed with some snow on the ground, but SERIOUS snowbanks may make this cache unattainable for a while. It should never be buried, however...

I have made the difficulty rating up to a 3, as a result of the ratio of DNFs to Finds. If you run into problems, feel free to email me - and usually, since I have a Blackberry, I can get back to you very quickly!!

A Note Regarding Logging of my Caches

Geocache hiders often go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Blank, single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. If a cache is not part of a series, endeavour to make the log relate to the cache. Resist the urge to copy and paste no matter how many caches you may do in a day. Please keep this in mind when entering your log. Thank you!
