Cascade Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Chuck Walla: Hello blackoak2006,

Geocaching HQ uses a calculation called Health Score which rates caches to identify those that might need attention from the cache owner. Emails are sent by Geocaching HQ to the cache owners of low scoring caches to encourage them to check on their caches. To learn more about the Health Score and what can affect your cache's Health Score, I recommend that you read this Help Center article (link).

Based upon its Health Score, this cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. You should have received an email about this some time ago.

I see no evidence that you have done anything in response to this email. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling this cache until you, the owner, can check on its status. After checking the cache and doing any necessary maintenance, you can click on the “enable listing” button on the top of the cache page to reactivate it. You do not have to contact me to do it for you. Also, please post an Owner Maintenance log after you have checked on your cache.

NOTE: If your cache is actually there, you might consider raising the Difficulty rating on it, as it may be much harder to find than the Difficulty rating shown on your cache page.

Please be aware that if you do not take action to address the issue with your cache within 30 days of the date of this log, or at least post a note to your cache page that you intend to do so, it will be archived at the direction of Geocaching HQ.

Sincerely,

Chuck Walla

Geocache Description:

Ammo Can close to Falls

This is the first Geocache that we have placed. We discovered this hobby when we needed something to do in the winter that would get us out of the house and give us some exercise.

This is a small ammo can that was placed in an area that we like to go because of the beauty. Even in the winter, it is beautiful here.

We felt that this area needed some more caches, and that is what led us to install another in this area.

To get to this cache, you will need to drive on Hwy 341, otherwise known as Push Mountain Road. You can get to the south end of 341 off of Hwy 14, west out of the town of Fifty Six, or to the North end of this road, off of Hwy 201 near the town of Norfork. You will need to turn on Forest Service Road 91024A. This road will be hard to find from time to time, because it seems that someone doesn't want the sign marker up, and keeps taking it down. Follow this road for a while and you will come to a "Y" in the road. Take the left fork. You will come to a food plot where you will need to make a decision on whether to continue driving or get out and walk. There is a road leading off to the left side of the food plot. If you are in a jeep or a pickup, you can drive the road. Otherwise, I figure if you are driving, you can make your own decisions at this time. You will find a four wheeler trail at the bottom of the hill to assist in the find.

As usual, keep track of children in this area. Rocks are slick when wet etc, etc......

It is our intentions to make this cache as good as possible for our first cache. If you have any constructive criticisms, please let me know, (i.e., difficulity rating, hike, etc.).

This cache is in the Ozark National Forest and has the USDA National Forrest Permit Reg # 0810.

****Congrats to Cavepeople for the FTF****
