It's about an hour hike up and back from the nearest road. At the top of a small mountain.
The cache is a 4"x 8" plastic container that has a snap on lid. It has a log book, a note from our boys, a sticky note pad, and a rock in it (originally). It's under some rocks so that it doesn't get disturbed by wildlife. I made the hike with my 6 year old but had to hold his hand the whole way.
It's best to approach the cache from the West along the ridge of the mountain. It's best to hike this from Oct-April when it's not so hot. The photo gallery offers some helpful hints to find it.
