Geocache Description:


Ammo can a short walk or ride from the Discovery Center.

The boys and I were out here shortly after a lot of rain and this spillway was running pretty strong. Of course being kids, the first thing we thought was how cool it would be to float these rapids after a nice summer storm.
After a few minutes discussing the logistics, my adult self got the better of me and put a stop to further discussions.
We decided to put a cache here instead and let the rest of you kids (young and old) ponder the thrill/insanity of such a trip.

So whaddya think? It's doable right?

Take a bike ride on the wonderful bike paths around the park or a walk along the splendid walking trails and you will make some very interesting discoveries. The cache is located in Callaway Gardens which is adjacent to Pine Mountain, Georgia.

NOTE: There is an admission charge to get into the gardens.
