Cache is located near an intersection that can either take you to Mexico, or along the "back" way to Columbus, N.M.
We gave the cache this name due to its proximity to the Santa Teresa border crossing into Mexico. We also like this "back" road which we use to travel to Columbus, N.M., and then either to Deming, or Tombstone (where we were married) usually on our trike. This is our first travel bug hotel, and we tried to make it as user friendly as possible. There is ample parking even for big trucks to pull off.
As with anything in the desert, be aware and careful of things that stick or bite, and be cautious as there is barbed wire and cable in the area. There is no need to cross the fence.
Please replace as well or better than you found it.
