Entrance to a paved mile long walking trail and a great view of the Columbia River. In the Spring this area can be a carpet of purple as is one of the first areas for grass widows to bloom. Many other nice flowers as the year goes on. Also home of 3 other caches. Just across the road are the trails up Catherine Creek with many more caches. After getting these come East on Old Hiway 8 and you will find several more. A great area for hiking and caching. As usual watch for poison oak, ticks and snakes. This is a micro.
