Cache located in a cliff along the Lulu Brook Trail. Small well disguised container. Bring your own pencil. Log only.
During the Fall of 2009, the Berkshire Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association cleared the Lulu Brook Trail (with permission from the DCR) from the very bottom to the very top. The trail had not been maintained at all in at least 15-20 years and had practically disappeared. But it's back! And it's probably the nicest trail in the whole Pittsfield State Forest. You can hike up the Lulu Brook Trail from the bottom (Lulu Parking Area) or hike down it from the top (Taconic Crest Trail -> Honwee, right on Lulu). Please use the trail. Don't make a new one down to the cache from the road.
