I've searched long and hard for good trails to hike or mountain
bike on, and the state does a pretty good job mapping out most. But
the unique, rare trails are impossible to find without the help of
a local. Unfortunately, usually locals want to keep outsiders away.
In fact, I've seen Private Property, No Trespassing sings posted at
public trail access points more than a few times. And I've even
heard of locals acting threateningly toward "
Trail People."

Well,
ClipperCreekWanderer is a local who goes above and beyond to
bring cachers to great, little-known trails in her neighborhood -
this one being one of the better in my opinion. So this cache is
for her! And anyone else who's willing to spend a few hours in
nature along a trail that has plenty to offer.
No need to climb on the rocks near the cache, but you can if you
want to. And proceed a little further down the small trail past the
cache for a GREAT view.
Please replace as found, with rocks covering it, to prevent
muggling.
Congrats to RichardtheBowman and geodad7
