This series is in honour of the industry which brought life to the town of Corby. There aren’t many Caches around or in Corby and so I have decided to place a series, starting with the first two, with more to follow.
Corby’s Steel works brought people from far and wide to work here, my own parents were from Durham and Scotland arriving as children when my Grandparents moved here for work.
This is the second of the series – Kirby Hall Quarry. Although flattened now it used to be a large Iron Ore site for the Steel Works and the Kirby Hall site was owned by British Steel.
This will be a quick dash and cache with space for a vehicle to park at the Cache site, please do not block the gates. You do not need to go onto private land to find the cache.
