Flash Mob Event - The Vernal Equinox at Quorum


	On March 21 at precisely 12:34 PM, the sun's rays are at the perfect point to really light up the solar equinox marker at the Addison Quorum. Here is how we would like to see this take place: Preparation 1. Bring along some sort of audible alarm device(i.e. cell phone, watch, alarm clock, etc.) and have it set to go off at exactly 12:34 PM. The louder, the better. 2. Wear a brown or beige, winter-colored shirt, top or jacket. 3. Bring something to wear with bright spring colors (light or medium green). Either wear it under your brown garment or carry it separately to put on over the brown garment. Presentation 1. Begin assembling near the sculpture prior to 12:34 PM. 2. When all the alarms go off, change your garment from winter brown to spring green. 3. Enjoy the equinox for a few minutes and sign the log book. Naturally, the sun has to be shining for the sculpture to work, but barring any torrential storms, the Flash Mob Event will still take place as scheduled. However, it would be a good idea to add this to your Watchlist in case the instructions change or further updates are necessary. We will again be capturing the event digitally for posterity, so please make every attempt to do your part in making it memorable with plenty of vivid colors. Parking should not be a problem; there are plenty of spaces at the posted parking co-ordinates. Wheelchair accessible with assistance.
