The congregation was established in 1899 and the church was built a couple of years later. The church will shortly be 100 years old.
The listed co-ords will take you to the entrance of the "Nederduitse Gereformeerde Gemeente" Church.
To solve the final cache location, which is not on the property of the church, you will need to establish the numerical Day(D), Month(M) and Year(Y) of the church's centenary. The listed co-ords will guide you to the plaque on the outside of the church.
The church can be accessed, but not required, between 08:00 to 16:00 everyday. Please DO NOT climb over any locked gate to gain access to the church. There is no need to go inside the church grounds, however should the gate be open, then enjoy the amazing architecture. To calculate the final cache location:
A = ((Y-1)/(M+1))
AAA = A - (D+M+2) -1
B = Y-1500
BBB = B+((DxM)+19) -1
NOTE: The final answer for "AAA" and "BBB" should be a three digit number, like "123"
S 25 41.AAA
E 30 01.BBB
The final cache location should be about 625m away and near the road.
NB: If you are caching with your phone, it is possible your accuracy will be affected and therefore it will be tricky to locate the hiding place, as there are many rocks around. BUT, please note the cache is under a LARGE rock, and you should widen your search. Think about where you could hide a small container (it is not a micro), and you should find the cache. If others have found it successfully, so should you! The hint is supposed to help you get closer, not necessarily find it. The fun in geocaching is finding the cache within the final co-ordinates' location.
