Five Incredible!
Years!
In August of 2005, a new cacher nicknamed "Zireguy" began geocaching.
He realized even at that time, that this was
perhaps the "lamest"
name for a geocacher EVER...
The man had only to look at his classroom doorway for the answer to
his problem...
He quickly became Mr.
Incredible!
His name came from the Pixar
movie The
Incredibles which was released the year before.
It won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, and
went on to become the second largest grossing film for Pixar
Animation Studios (behind Finding
Nemo).
This story of a middle-aged super
hero dealing with life's everyday problems
inspired not only this geocacher, but lots of
geocaches!
If you haven't seen the movie, you owe it to yourself to see it!
(It will also explain a lot about Mr. I!...)
The unique cache container has been painted
black (or brown... and is obviously a recycled
one!)
