Throw Down at Sandalwood Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wood_Rat: It was a fun run, but it's time to thin the herd and let someone else have a go at it.

Thanks to all who hunted this cache!

Geocache Description:

All Milpitas parks are open from dawn until 10:00pm

Sandalwood is a nice little 2-acre neighborhood park with benches, playground, picnic tables, BBQ, and horseshoe pits. It is part of the greenway built over the Hetch Hetchy water pipes running through town.

Congratulations to joespaz for FTF!

The muggles have taken many caches from this park. Now, it's a throw down and I'm placing a cache here in spite of the muggles. The container is now a camouflaged cookie tin. This can be a very tough grab at certain times of the weekday day. Large herds of high-school-aged mugglets collect here, so when school is starting or getting out, forget it. At other times please use stealth as this is a popular place for joggers, walkers, and dog owners.

Parking: The cul-de-sac has been signed as no parking during school hours. However, there is legal parking just a few feet south at N 37° 26.943 W 121° 53.883 if you park on the east side of the street facing north. Go figure.
