Yet another Tribble has escaped from sir-cachealot’s
“The Tribble Trove” (GC1NKAG) and is hiding in the Scio
Woods Preserve. This is a brand new conservation easement currently
being developed by Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation. Red
flagging marks the routes for future trails. Mulch is piled up,
waiting to be spread when the weather improves. The parking lot
seems to be complete, so we thought we would put a quick
park-and-grab cache here, just to alert geocachers to what should
be another great place to hike and explore in Washtenaw County.
Update: June 2010 -- Work on this preserve has continued and the
trails are now in good shape for hiking. Two more caches have been
hidden along the trails making this a great place for geocachers to
visit!
