Located on Highcliff on the Otago Peninsula.An easy 10 minute walk over a grassed track leads from the carparking area to the cache site. If you are unsure how to get there, use the driving directions (new feature) located on this page.
The Otago Peninsula is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, and the location of this cache would have to be the most easily accessible viewpoint with truly spectacular views.
Vertigo sufferers need not fear this one, the panic button will not operate over this terrain. Keep well back from the fence edging the cliff, the cache is located where sheep may safely graze.
On the way to the track entry you may choose to ignore the NO EXIT NO TURNING sign, as there is a generous grassed car parking area at the track entry.- See photo gallery.This may be a problem on a wet day, so use discretion.
The track closure sign notifying beach access closed for penguin breeding season (December to February) applies only to Boulder Beach. This track, which links to Buskin and Paradise tracks is open access at all times, there is no access to any beach directly off this track,
