Here we have the second installment of the Battle Lake Run, which winds in and around the Battle Lake area near Mart. This series is actually a spinoff of the nearby SMBR series, as I had run through parts of this area while scouting that series. As it was added over the 2009 Christmas weekend, many of the names have a Christmas theme. My apologies for this, as well.. This part of the series is set in honor of MCP's upcoming 20K find and nuptials. All the best!
As a matter of interest, Battle Lake still is no more, at least as a body of water. After a prolonged and heavy period of rains, the lake's dam gave way on May 9, 2009, and the lake drained completely in less than 24 hours. At present there are still no funds to restore the dam. Ah, well...
