Here is a swimming pool out in the middle of nowhere. I'm not able to get all the facts on this place, only what I've been told by the old timers. Sometime in the late 50's to early 60's, 2 or 3 families got together & constructed this pool for their own private use. After about 10 years, they decided it was too much to keep up with & sold it to a few investors who made a membership club out of it. It was then opened to members between Memorial Day in May until Labor Day in September. They had a concession stand, pool table, pinball machine & juke box. All the kids would hang out here in the summer. Certified Red Cross lifeguards would teach swimming lessons here as well. Through the years, membership has dwindled and the last time I visited in the 90's, there was nothing but swimming available. Concessions & other entertainment was too costly to provide. They do good enough to get enough members to pay for the expenses.
Maintaining any kind of a pool is costly.
Container is a Pill Bottle that should be a quick Park & Grab.
