Geocache Description:

This cache continues a series of hides dedicated to songs by individual artists or groups I enjoy and also relate to the cache itself.

This cache is dedicated to BeerCache 2009!

This cache is a tribute in several respects. First, this cache is dedicated to BeerCache 2009. The “Tres Hombres” (Three Men – in case you do not know the lingo), who put this thing on, jcanyoneer, schmidticus1 and azweeks could not be happier in bringing you this event. Secondly, Tres Hombres is also a tribute to the 3rd release ZZ Top put out in 1973 and one of the songs off that release Beer Drinkers And Hellraisers also pays tribute to the event.

ZZ Top is an American Blues-Rock band which has been around forever. I encourage you to take a listen to this album. In addition to what Rolling Stone said in 2003 listing it 498 of the 500 greatest albums of all time, it truly is one of the best classic rock albums ever released. Billy Gibbons (square-beard), Dusty Hill (pointed-beard), and Frank Beard (No-beard) have faithfully rocked the U.S. for 30+ years and counting. Lastly, BeerCache 2009 will pay tribute to ZZ Top through jcanyoneer (long-hair), schmidticus1 (permanent-hair), and azweeks (no-hair).

As for the cache, trust your coords and you should be fine. I purposely placed this cache here since it is close to another “Beercache” in the form of another drinking establishment nearby.
