This cache continues a series of hides dedicated to songs by individual artists or groups I enjoy and also relate to the cache itself.
This cache is dedicated to BeerCache 2009!
Okay, when jcanyoneer, schmidticus1 and I first thought about putting this thing on it became apparent that a central theme surrounding beer was crucial, thus BeerCache 2009 was born. Consequently, it also became imperative that caches have a beer theme. With that, this cache screamed Beer In Mexico to me. When you try to find this cache you will find out why I called it what I did.
Beer In Mexico is a great song off of Kenny Chesney’s 2005 release The Road and The Radio. You have to understand, I am not a big country music fan but that changed a little when my lovely wife talked me into going to Kenny Chesney’s “Somewhere in the Sun Tour” in 2005. I have to say, I had a blast. Beer In Mexico was the song he opened up with. It was also fun to watch Sugarland as well…always easy on the eyes..oops…I digress. Anyway, the song itself also has a great line that reflects the general philosophy of geocaching as well:
Do my best to waste another day…
Really though, does any cacher worth their salt really waste a day caching? The cache itself should be an easy find. Getting to it will be something else…have fun and watch your step!
