Owner's note: due to construction in the area you no longer need to go to the end of the road. Just go past the tunnel and look for a short "road" to the left to pull off and start your search!
Drive as far as you dare (depending on how much you like your paint job) in Forest Road. Cache is a regular size rubbermaid container wrapped in camo tape.
If you don't brave the alders you will have a 10-15 miunute walk to the river. Once near the old bridge go to the right to follow along the river. Trail is a bit rough with some washing out but should be fine for most.
We used to come here as kids. We'd hop rocks as far as we could in the river, then stop for a lunch, then hop rocks back out.
