This virtual cache has 2 purposes. The first is to get you to go up HWY 50 to do some finding and further hiding. There are several neat caches that don’t require a long hike and a bunch that do. The second is to get you to stop at a place we have all seen many times at 55 MPH (or faster), but have never stopped.
The cache is a virtual cache, which means that all you need to do to log a find is visit the site. There is one catch. At the base of the geographic feature is a metal sign. It is not the sign on the "Call Box" that is located further east in the parking area. You must email me with the exact words on that sign. If I don’t see the email I will delete your post. To approach the area legally, you must be traveling east on HWY 50. If you were traveling west, you would cross a double double yellow line to turn into the area and thus violate the law. This applies also to turning out of the area. There are legal turnarounds within short distances either direction. Have fun and drive safely.
