Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small clear plastic box inside a black groundsheet bag.

Langley Burrell

There has been evidence of people living in Langley Burrell for over 15,000 years. Langley is Old English for "long wood" and the Burrell appears to come from the Borel/Burel family who lived in the nearby Langley Manor in the 11th century.

More information about Langley Burrell can be found on the Wiltshire Council website.

Parking is available in the village, though you'll have to walk over a moderately steep bridge to get to the cache. Please don't block or park opposite driveways. Alternatively you can park next to the cache if you wish to cache-and-dash.

This is a popular spot for train-spotters, and if you're lucky you might even spot a train yourself.

Note: Despite what your sat-nav may say, you can't drive over the railway by the cache. You could have fun trying though!
