Geocache Description:

Located in the upstate near Easley SC.

Carbon Fiber is a new space age engineered material that is used where light weight is desired, with no loss of strength. Used for bicycles, planes, rotors, fishing rods, space equipment, to you name it. "Rods" summer accident that smushed her ankle resulted in external steel rods drilled into her shin bone and through her ankle. These were linked externally by two carbon rods linked by some unique swivels and nuts, to hold the foot in place while several operations were made in repairing the damaged ankle.
This odd equipment was removed in Sept. and given to her as a present. I ran across the two rods a few days back and the light came on...why not a cache for Rods, made out of Carbon Fiber rods to give the ankle saving material another life? Now you know what you are looking for, but never could get a water tight seal. It's now in a small camoed medicine bottle, BYOP
