Geocache Description:

Reception is a little funny in the Amphitheater for some reason - turn your GPS on and allow it to find itself before you head back there. It takes forever for it to find itself once you're in there.

Anyway, this used to be a beautiful, open, maintained picnic area, that you could drive to and around, until the park decided to let it return to its natural state (in other words, they quit maintaining it). They do keep a trail around the perimeter of it open for walking. There have been caches in there over the years, but I noticed there aren't any currently. So MollyPup and I decided to put one in there.

Nearest parking and easiest approach is from the parking area by the Flats (near the Silver Bridge).

MollyPup flushed out a red fox that has a den nearby. See if you can find it!
