Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED COORDINATES! The posted coordinates will lead you to a nearby convenience store, that has nothing to do with this cache. It seems that this type of store seems to be popping up all over. As far as I know, however, you can't get a ladder there!

Penny's "grandpa" always seemed to have a crossword puzzle book handy. Of course, in addition to classic crossword puzzles, the book also contained a series of other puzzle types. This cache is based upon the Laddergram puzzle. Don't be dismayed if you are not familiar with this puzzle type as its concept is relatively straightforward. First, write the word/number that fits the first definition/equation into space 1. Then drop one letter/number from that answer and rearrange the remaining letters/numbers to form answer 2 and then again for answer 3. Write the dropped letters/numbers into the boxes on the left and right of the line, respectively. Repeat this process for each line. When complete, the side columns will spell the coordinates of the cache. Have fun, and oh, by the way, bring your own pen!
