Geocache Description:

TB Hotel near I-75 Northbound Exit 29 (Hahira)

Each year during the first week in October the city of Hahira holds a "Honeybee Festival", which started in 1981 by two local women. They set out to liven up the town and started holding arts and crafts, entertainment and a parade. Over the years the weekend festival has grown into a week long extravaganza. The festival is now known as one of the best in the Southeast and the parade is touted as the best in South Georgia. It has been estimated that anywhere from 20,000 to 36,000 visitors come to town for the parade and to walk the streets for arts & crafts, and lots of food. The cache is an plastic jug less than 100 feet from parking. This cache is perfect for dropping a travel bug or two off.
