Geocache Description:

An easy walk, but giving it a Terrain "2" due to distance.

Welcome to the Fairfax Community Park and Bike Path.

This cache is located off a path, along a river. You will find the cache in a winter UN-friendly place, .24 miles from parking.

So, go ahead and ask..."Why would Zebra Girl place a cache in a place that is NOT winter friendly when we are days from a snow storm?"

There are two reasons: One reason is the lack of good hiding places. There weren't a lot of good real estate options. However, the main reason was my near-dead batteries. As my battery warning light began to flash I had to find a place quickly. I grabbed the only semi-likely spot and tried to make it work. As with its sister cache in this park, if you make it near GZ, there are very few places the cache could be.

If the snow is deeper than a foot you will call me names and swear at me But you CAN find it.
