The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The cache’s name is sometimes meant derogatorily, this would be the farthest thing from the truth for this cache. The caches chosen for this challenge had to meet three criteria, first the cache owner would not have logged on to Geocaching.com in four months, second they were a Kansas cacher, and last they had only placed one cache. Yes, if you check real closely you will find that some of these caches don’t meet the criteria, but they were close enough for me. Some of these caches have been around for a long time, but you can see that other cachers have been keeping them going long after the owner quit caching. Others have not been logged in sometime and are not on the beaten track. If you come across one that is missing, you could perform a "Larry739" (replacing a missing cache) to put some new life back into it or ask RattlingCrew to archive it if that would make more sense. I have created a public bookmark of 115 caches called “One Hit Wonders Challenge”. You will need to make a copy of it, to create your public bookmark called “One Hit Wonders Challenge” adding the date you completed each cache to the comments. Once you have found all the active caches for this challenge and posted your bookmark, email me and I will give you details for the final.
