Even though Cache U and I have put out numerous caches together, Tealeaf has been getting on my case about not have any caches to my name... she actually called me a slacker! So in response to her challenge, here is my own personal first cache that is officially listed under my name--only nine months after she teased me. I still have no idea why she called me a slacker...;-) I reminded her of my important roles in all of the sheer genius caches that Cache U and I have put out together. We're like... Ginger Rogers and Fred Estaire (except for the dancing part). We're like... Sonny and Cher (except for the singing part). We're like... Abbott and Costello (actually, the similarities there are astounding)... However, if it needs maintenance, Cache U is your guy--that's our arrangement and I'm stickin' to it :-). I originally intended to call it "slacker cacher," but couldn't resist following suit and instead naming it after our own little geopuppy like others in the area have done. For those who don't know, her name is Chocolate Mousse, but we call her Mousse. We were on our way out to the County cache and surrounding finds when I decided to just put one out there myself and continue the dog park theme of the area. Enjoy the "dog run" of caches all in this same area. Park in the lot at the trailhead and follow the trail for most of the way. The last part is easy terrain and the hide is pretty darned traditional. There are lots of cowpies in the area, so be careful--it was below freezing when we placed it, and Moussie treated them like "poopsicles" and licked a few... you can't make this stuff up! When you rehide it, please cover it well (but not with cowpies), and enjoy!
