The passage through the rock is called the Keyhole and provides a route via a cut rocky shelf to a fishing spot on the front of the Camel.
Surfers also use this entrance to get thru to the surf on the other side to avoid a big paddle out particularly on big days (up to 15ft)
Only accessable from low to mid tides, can be very dangerous on a higher tide as the tide rushes thru the keyhole.
