I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

This is a simple cache to help celebrate the year Twenty-Ten. It is also our 10th cache placed, so we thought it would be apt to place it on the first day of 2010.
We could have called this cache "Looking at Homer" or "Simpsons View" as from this location you can see GZ for one of our other caches "Homer" (GC15RJJ), but instead, to celebrate the new decade, we have called it as we have.
Located at a nice vantage point at the southern end of Darook Park in South Cronulla, once at GZ you will have nice views up the Port Hacking River and across to Bundeena, Maianbar and the camping area at Bonnie Vale.
The park itself offers nice picnic areas with bench seats to sit & take in the views if you are that way inclined ,or you can stroll on down to the small beach located within the park for a paddle. There are no waves here, and sometimes you might have to stroll a little further if the tide is out.
You could even do this cache with a boat if you are out and about on the water.
Please kep an eye on your kids near GZ, as there are a couple of steep drop offs nearby.
Please replace the camo as it is, to help keep the cache from prying eyes.
There is nothing difficult about this cache - just another excuse to get out and about & enjoy the sights of Sutherland Shire.
