I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Celebrating the New Year, we would like to bring all cachers a New Year's Present - a new cache. This is our 11th cache placed.

Whilst out placing our nearby cache, we discovered this nice hidey-hole, and with such a nice view, we thought it was too good to walk away and not offer the view to other cachers.

This cache is placed at Darook Park at South Cronulla, this time at the Northern end of the park, you will be rewarded with views across Gunnamatta Bay and up the Port Hacking River.

The park itself offers nice picnic areas with bench seats to sit & take in the views if you are that way inclined ,or you can stroll on down to the small beach located within the park for a paddle. There are no waves here, and sometimes you might have to stroll a little further if the tide is out. It is a great spot to bring the kids for a few hours.

You could even get to this cache from a boat if you are out and about on the water.

If you have kids with you though, please keep an eye on them, as there are a couple of large drop-offs close to the cache location.

There is nothing difficult about this cache - just another excuse to get out and about & enjoy the sights of Sutherland Shire.
