As geocachers (and regular residents too), we're very critical of
of our local council because they don't provide enough open spaces
when they open up an area for residential development, nor do they
make any provision for access to the natural bush.
Most streets that look like they could lead to interesting spots
end in a cul-de-sac, with houses all around, and no access to the
koppies anywhere.
This little square of indigeneous Nelspruit somehow got spared. It
could easily have had houses on it, but it doesn't, so now it has a
cache!!
Actually, it's had a cache for some time already. This used to be
the final location of our mystery cache "Urban Art - The Second
Instalment" which didn't prove popular, so we've decided to convert
it into a traditional cache.
Oh, and it's got a nice view too - which makes it even more amazing
that there aren't houses.
The cache can be accessed from the east or the west, but east is
easiest, so that's the parking co-ords we've given below.
It's a 1 litre camo lock-n-lock container.
