Plate Layers Hut Traditional Cache

A continuation of our Ystwyth Trail cyclepath route that can be done either from the car park near 'Under the Stars' or from a parking place noted below (note that there is only really room for one car, although when we parked there, someone else drove to the ford and was washing their car!)
This cache is located on Route 81 of the National Cycle Network (the NCN) To find out about the NCN and Sustrans, who developed it,check out their web site!!

If you approach this cache from our Under The Stars cache, the terrain is easily passable and so apart from the final hunt for the cache, it is a 1.5, if not a 1! If, however, you approch from the co-ords below, be prepared for a bit of a climb.
Please note that the cache is neither in or attached to the hut, but it is very close by. Don't go poking around in the walls for the cache!
Here the cycle path drops down into a bit of forestry and leaves the railway behind (for now!). Why is this? To find out, read the cache notes for 'End of the Track?'
