This is part of a series of 24 caches which are placed on a circular walk around The Creetings via footpaths, country lanes and the remnants of ancient Suffolk green lanes which were formerly used as highways, but are now footpaths. The final cache #24 is a bonus with the co-ordinates available in the series numbers #22 and #23.
Cache #20 Ball's Way (Wet Day)
This cache is hidden at the side of this very wide and pleasant green lane known as Ball’s Way. Its history is not well documented and in the early 2000’s this lane was the subject of much dispute about its status as a right of way. Fortunately this was all resolved with it being officially designated as a Public Footpath.
One minor problem is that this path doesn't really lead anywhere, so for once in this series please retrace your steps to the next cache in whatever order you are doing them.
