This park-and-find cache is at the Heritage Mountain Resort, next to the Seven Peaks Water Park and Peaks Ice Arena, site of the 2002 Winter Olympics hockey events.
Since this site attracts so many visitors, we would like the cache contents to focus on travel bugs.
Please replace the cache exactly as you found it.
The plans for this large, year-round resort began in 1966 and over the years the water park, golf course and original resort building were constructed, along with the Olympic hockey arena, but the grand plans for the Heritage Mountain Resort never materialized.
This cache is at the location of the original resort headquarters building, which served as the golf course clubhouse (the golf course was located where the Foothills housing development now is located, which is across the street), and it is a small official geocache container.
The original contents include 3 travel bugs, an eraser, log, and, for the first to find, an Olympic pin.
