This cache is placed nearby the main trail in Goose Pond Mountain Park. This trail is a section of the Highland Trail as it crosses through the park and is marked with a teal diamond blaze
This is the second of my six caches in this park. The Monroe Cachers want to get this party started and make it a worthwhile day hike into the Goose. More fun to follow!

You are looking for a camo-covered ammo can that I won in a raffle at the Black Friday Meet & Greet.
I really like caches in old trees and this one certainly caught my eye. There are many large standing, as well as fallen old trees throughout the park. Some are large enough to stand inside the trunk.
You will find lots of cool swag to trade and a Fallen Heroes Geocoin.
Careful during snake season!
