Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Rockefeller Forest along Bull Creek in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. It's a beautiful spot to spend an afternoon. There is parking, bathroom, and easy walk to the cache.

The cache is a green ammo box. Cache contents: compass, iodine tablets, magnesium fire starter, and a couple other emergency supplies. Also my Steelhead TB. Take the Rockefeller exit off Hwy 101 and travel west until you come to the turn off for Flat Iron tree and Giant tree. You can park in the day use area and go the rest on foot. Look for the trail marked "Albee Creek Campground 1mile (see photo)." The rest is up2 you.

Your GPS signal will be dodgy most of the time. You will have to take your time and grab any signals in the canopy openings.

The cache is hidden just a few feet or so off trail so no bushwackin! Make sure the cache is well hidden and take care not to damage any of the park.

Take your time and enjoy the area. Further down the trail from the cache are some fallen trees wide enough for crossing Bull Creek. This trail will lead you to Giant tree.
