This is the first cache I have placed since moving to Kentucky a month ago. So this is kind of gateway to a new start and it is about 30 feet from a gateway between two fields in undeveloped city land.
Much has changed since this cache was placed in 2010. Several years ago the Nature Park and Hardin County Veteran's Tribute were placed very close by. As I type this almost exactly seven years after the cache was placed, the groundwork is being done to place a scale version of the Vietnam Memorial (The Wall) very nearby!
Access has gone from parking next to Freeman lake and taking a pedestrian tunnel to parking two hundred feet away, having additional nature trails nearby and the opportunity to visit a very unique park in a wonderful city!
