Opus is a work of art. This work of art is dedicated to those who served in WWII and worked at Pacolet better known as New Holland Mill. The surrounding houses are part of the original mill house community where employees lived and walked to work. You can see by the names that many members of the same families worked at this mill.

Parking is a short distance from the monument and a sidewalk runs past it.
