This triangle honors Abraham Wolfson (1949-1971), an environmental activist and one of the founders of the Queens Historical Society. Wolfson was born June 29, 1949 in New York City and spent his life dedicated to community service. In 1968, Wolfson became one of the founding members of the Queens Historical Society and was the organization’s first president. Wolfson’s interest in history inspired him to fight for landmark preservation.
