The ground level cache is best approached traveling northeast on Middlecamp Rd; it makes parking easier to access. Please be stealthy and return cache as you found it. Contents when placed include HotWheels, assorted trade items and a "series key".
This is the first in a series of classic rock-inspired geocaches that highlight some of my favorite songs and artists. While some of these songs lend themselves well to a local geocache location, others are admittedly a stretch, but go with me on these and I hope they're fun for you.
Congratulations to Plantdude for the FTF!
"Stuck in the Middle (With You)"
According to Wikipedia, Stealers Wheel is a Scottish folk rock band that formed in 1972. In the early 1970s, the band was considered to be the British version of the American folk/rock group Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. They were initially joined by Roger Brown, Rab Noakes and Ian Campbell in 1972. That line-up only lasted a few months and by the time the band was signed later that same year, Brown, Noakes and Campbell had been replaced by Paul Pilnick, Tony Williams and Rod Coombes.
"Stuck in the Middle With You" was released in 1972 on the Album titled "Stealers Wheel" and went to #6 on the US Billboard top 100 chart, as well as to #8 in Great Britain.
The Song enjoyed a resurgence in 1990s after being used in a gruesome scene in the movie, "Reservoir Dogs"
