Dorfgasteiner Skiventure

Der Cache dauert ca. 3 Stunden, abhängig vom Fahrkönnen. Allerdings sollte dieses schon ausreichen, um rote Pisten sicher fahren zu können.
Dorfgastein ist ein tendenziell eher anspruchsvolles Skigebiet.Da wir aber möglichst viel von den Pisten zeigen wollten, sind blutige Anfänger leider schlecht mit diesem Cache beraten.

Zu jeder Zeit gilt, dass die freigegebenen Pisten zu keiner Zeit verlassen werden müssen! Einzig der Cache selbst ist ein paar Schritte neben der Piste zu suchen, allerdings ohne Ski. Falls euch oder anderen, Gott behüte, irgendetwas passieren sollte, in Österreich erreicht ihr die Rettung unter Tel.: 144
GPS-Geräte können sowohl bei der Dorfgasteiner Touristeninformation, als auch an der Rezeption des Cordial Sanotels in Bad Gastein kostenlos ausgeliehen werden.
Zur Ausrüstung wird folgendes benötigt/empfohlen:
- Ski / Snowboard
- Liftkarte (kostenpflichtig!)
- GPS
- Karte des Skigebietes (an der Liftkasse oder in Hotels / Pensionen zu bekommen)
- Handy
- Taschenrechner
Zudem empfehlen wir, sich über die Pistenverhältnisse zu informieren. Der Link: Webcam
Außerdem mag es von Vorteil sein, den Annäherungsalarm eures GPS zu nutzen. So müsst ihr nicht mit dem GPS in der Hand auf die Pisten und schießt auch nicht über's Ziel hinaus.

Zur Stage 1 geht’s mit der Gondel bis ganz nach oben auf Fulseck, auf 2033 Meter.
Wenn ihr aus Großarl kommt, dann startet einfach auf Fulseck mit Stage 1.

Die Ski braucht ihr hier oben zunächst nicht anziehen. Stellt sie also am besten beim Gipfelstadl ab und folgt eurem GPS.
Ihr sucht eine zweistellige Zahl.

Stage 2:

Geht zurück zu euren Ski und folgt der roten 3 bis zum Kühagerhang (Liftnr. 42).Dieser Hang ist unserer Meinung nach einer der schönsten Dorfgasteins. Bei schönem Wetter und gutem Schnee kann man hier wunderbar seine Schwünge ziehen.
Seid ihr angekommen, ist die Frage:
Wie viele Höhenmeter werdet ihr überwinden, wenn ihr nun den Lift nach oben nehmt?

Stage 3:

Nehmt den Lift nach oben und fahrt über die blaue 7a und anschließend die blaue 7 bis zum Viapunkt 1.

Das sind Koordinaten knapp unterhalb der Bergstation des Lifts 39 (4er Sessel).Hier könnt ihr euch entscheiden, ob ihr lieber der blauen 7 weiter folgt, oder die steilere rote 6.
An Stage 3 angekommen zählt ihr die von hier aus sichtbaren Stützen des 4er Sessellifts (die oberste Doppelstütze zählt als eine).

Auf dem Weg zu diesen Koordinaten kommt ihr am Viapunkt 2 vorbei, den ihr zunächst eingeben solltet.

Dort beginnt ein kleiner Weg (blaue 7). Bei schönem Schnee und schönem Wetter ist die verträumte Fahrt durch den Wald ein tolles Erlebnis.Jedoch könnt ihr euch hier auch für eine der roten Pisten entscheiden, die euch genauso zu den Koordinaten von Stage 5 führen.
Hier angekommen sucht ihr ein kleines, blaues Schild auf dem eine Buchstaben-Zahlenkombination nach folgendem Muster steht.

Ihr sucht die drei X’e in der Mitte.
Ordnet diesen Buchstaben Zahlen zu.

Nehmt den 4er Sessellift (Liftnr. 39) hinauf.Folgt nun der roten 5 zu den Koordinaten.

Ordnet dem Lösungswort wieder Zahlen zu.

Stage 7:

Kreuzt die Piste und fahrt zur Talstation des 6er Sessellifts (Liftnr. 40). Diesen nehmt ihr hinauf bis knapp unterhalb von Fulseck. Steigt nach links aus und haltet euch auf der roten 2.
Schnallt hier am Pistenrand eure Ski ab.Wie lange wandert man von hier aus zum Arltörl?

This Cache takes ca. 3 hours, depending on your skills. But you should go good enough for red pistes.
Dorfgastein is a demanding skiing area. Because we wanted to show much of the pistes, this Cache is not the best for real beginners.

In no situation the released areas have to be left! Only the Cache itself is deposed a few steps off the piste, but without ski. In case that anything happens to you or other people, in Austria the number for the rescue service is Tel.: 144
A GPS can be borrowed for free at the Tourist Information in Dorfgastein as well as in the Cordial Sanotel in Bad Gastein.
You should carry the following equipment with you:
- Ski / Snowboard
- Ski pass (at cost!)
- GPS
- Map of the Skiing area (to get in the ticket office or in hotels/guest houses
- Cell
- Calculator

Furthermore it could be useful to switch on the approach alert of your GPS. So you don't have to ski with the GPS in your hand and you don't miss the target.

To get to Stage 1 take the skilift upwards to the top of the mountain to Fulseck, at 2033 meters.
If you come from Großarl, just start at Fulseck with Stage 1.

We think this slope is one of the most beautifuls in Dorfgastein. When the weather is nice and the snow is good you can do your swings wonderfully.

How much ist he difference in altitude when you take the chair lift upwards?

Take the lift upwards and ski along the blue 7a and afterwards along the blue 7 to the Via-point 1.

Here you can choose if you want to follow the blue 7 or the steeper red 6.
When you have arrived Stage 3 please count the visible support pillars of the 4-chair lift (the uppermost double-pillar counts as one).

There a small path begins (blue 7). When the snow is good and the weather nice, the dreamy journey through the forest is a nice experience. But you can also decide for one of the red pistes, they will also bring to the right coordinates.

Cross the piste and ski to the liftgate of the 6-chair lift (Liftno. 40). Take it upwards. Get off, ski left and stay on the red 2.
At the coordinates you can take off your ski and park them on the side of the piste.
