This is a multi-part cache - the co-ords will take you to a place
where you will find some words. The words must be used to work out
the co-ordinates for the physical cache. Clue and cache are
separated by a 10-minute walk through the extremely picturesque old
part of Llantwit. WARNING - there are some good pubs on the way.
Welcome to Llantwit Major, also known as Llanilltud Fawr.
This cache, Llantonian Dau, is number two in my series of caches
around the deeply historical town of Llantwit Major. We Llantonians
are proud of our heritage - this cache starts at the Town Hall,
famous for being an ancient court house.
The co-ords here will take you to the front of the building,
where you will find some words, above head height, on the east face
of the town hall. You will need these words to find the location of
the physical cache.
If you have found your way to the co-ords, you will also have
found your way to a car park, as clue and car park are in the same
place. There are also public toilets - see, Llantwit has everything
you could wish for.
The clue:
...JASPER TUDOR ABCD-EF...
...PARISH COUNCIL IN GHIJ
The cache:
N51° (A+G) B . F J (J-G)
W3° ((E-C)+A) E . D B H
The general area of the cache is surrounded by muggle dwellings,
but they are all very friendly. The specific muddy area of the
cache is overlooked by a muggle house, but is on public land.
Please be discreet - perhaps send a couple of cachers on the final
20 metres, instead of a gang of several of you. These final metres
are VERY MUDDY. Also, although available at night, you will arouse
unwelcome suspicion if you visit it at night, unless you really are
super-stealthy.
