Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in the Churchyard which is unmissable right in the centre of Ludham. There is no walk involved with this cache but it is not a “cache ‘n’ dash” ! The puzzle is not difficult but you may have to spend a happy hour in this beautiful churchyard..

To find the exact location of this cache you will need to solve the puzzle clue and use it with the Additional hint. The coordinates given are for the parking spot at Stocks Hill adjacent to the church. The Puzzle Clue is in the image attached to this listing. (Scroll down to the link below the map) It would be a good idea to print it out.

Unless you are familiar with Linnaean classification you may need access to Google to find the hiding spot once you have solved the clue, so take your WAP phone or be prepared to make two trips.

All the gravestones used in the puzzle are clearly readable, outside and at the front of the church. Please respect the location and avoid searching around the area of the ashes internments and the current burial area.

The cache is a small clip lock box in a draw string camo bag and originally contained:
Logbook, Pencil and Stash Notes
FTF Certificate
Folding Scissors Key Ring
Smiley Face Stickers
1944 George VI Sixpence
Geocaching Key Ring
Red Admiral Butterfly Enamel Pin
Raith Gras Geocoin

When you have finished please take the time to visit the inside of this beautiful Gateway Church and If you want to know more about it and its real treasures, which include the finest rood screen in the country, please read about it here. (visit link) or here (visit link)

If you have enjoyed the experience you could show the church your appreciation in any way you think fit ;-) (e.g. round of applause, shake the vicar by the hand etc.not wishing to break any rules here!)

Happy Geocaching!
