Geocache Description:

One of the 50 States = 50 Micros caches. Difficulty rating given because of the muggle factor, not the hide. Should be an easy one.

I guess I should give some Tennessee history since it has a cache named after it. I'm not a regular at the library so I used a couple of other sources for my information.

According to the state quarter which was released in 2002, Tennessee became a state in 1796. They also like music there. That's all the quarter could tell me, so I went to another one of my favorite sources.

According to the bottle of No.7 on my shelf downstairs, the stuff inside was made in Tennessee.

The local radio station plays music that was supposedly recorded in Tennessee, although when you get to that part of the country they all have similar accents, and I'm sure some of it was produced across the states lines. Still it's all pretty good music. It all has that twang to it, even though the King of Rock and Roll was from Tennessee.

I have this thing for food, and while watching the food channel I learned that Tennessee is home of the Moon Pie. I haven't had one of these yet, but if it's a pie, I'm in.

The Guinness Book of World Records even lists Tennessee in it. Many states have hidden treasures, and Tennessee is no different. They have a huge treasure they value so much, the did like the pirates did and burried. Tennessee is home to the largest underground lake in the country. I'd imagine tanning on the beach is not that effective, and the water must be dirty, but then again I've seen pictures of the Chattahoochee River, and I wouldn't swim in it.

My brother, who is involved in law enforcement shared this with me " It is legal to gather and consume roadkill in Tennessee". If my wife knew that she'd never eat at another restaurant in that State again.

That's about all that I have to share about the great State of Tennessee. Maybe you'll drive thru it sometime and will discover something new that may inspire you to stop. I did once and I just had to stop at this one little shop on the side of the road. Something about roadside Fireworks stands I find irresistable. Sure beats the Farmer's Market.
