Downtown / Main Street USA: Newton, NJ Traditional Cache

This cache is in Downtown Newton, New Jersey on Spring Street (rather than Main Street) as this is really the heart of Newton. This is a micro cache with a log only inside. I have marked this as a difficulty level 2.0 because of all the muggles around. You will really need to be stealthy in the GZ. Please put the cache back exactly where you found it once you sign the log.

Parking is available on Spring Street or behind stores and restaurants. Newton's downtown has started to redevelop and has specialty shops, restaurants and a movie theater all withing a few blocks.

About 60 ft down the street from the cache's hiding place is the Newton Fire Museum built in 1891 which contains firefighting apparatus and historical documentation all housed in the old firehouse building. For opening hours and details check out visit link.
