Locatated in the Magagiesberg and Platinum mining area
The cache is a pill container of 150 ml, in a crack under some stones beneath an Englerophytum magalismontanum.
Don’t cross this one off the list because of the strenuous walk.
Allow for a return trip of about 1 hour, wear suitable walking shoes.
Take some water along in hot weather.
Your dogs will love this outing but check for ticks when you get home.
The recommended route is from the east, the other approaches don’t have safe parking, the terrain rough and you could possibly meet with muggles, best not to do alone.
Healthy and secure parking at S25° 41.841? E027° 12.897?. Keep left up the tar for about 70 m then sharp left to the gate and turnstile the tar ends after 50 meters. Another few minutes and take a right. Stop and admire the Euphorbia ingens, take a right here and stick to the rutted track to S25° 41.902? E027° 12.747?- and the ruins, from here you’re on your own.
