Nansyuji Temple was built by Rennyo Shonin in 1477 and has a big ginkgo tree of some 500 years old.
Near the old Kyokaido Road Bunroku Tsutsumi, there is this temple of old history. The big gigko tree is spreading way up into the sky and quite a landmark. It is no wonder why the tree is designated as Natural Monument of Osaka Prefecture. The temple also has a monument to remember visit of Meiji Emperor. And various stone posts at the corner, too. Feel historic breeze here.
A cache is hidden but accessible from outside the temple.
